My name is Susan Davies MSW, LCSW and I have been working as a psycho-therapist since 1983. I specialize in suicide, homicide, accidental death and hospice related deaths. I have a private practice in Torrance, California.

Grief is a part of our lives. We experience the pain of loss at the time of death. My purpose is to help you get through the grief process in a supportive, caring, understanding, and creative environment.

In addition to specializing in loss and grief issues, I also treat eating disorders, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, attention deficit disorder (ADD), attention deficit disorder with hyperactivity (ADHD), Autistic Spectrum Disorders, alcohol and drug dependency, verbal and physical abuse, sexual abuse, dissociative disorders, psychotic disorders. post-traumatic stress disorder and problems in relationships. I work with individuals, couples and families.

In addition to seeing people in my office, I also treat people in their home environment and facilitate crisis intervention at on-site locations where traumatic events have occurred.

I take most insurances and am a provider for Anthem Blue Cross and Medicare.
